Bronchitis Viral Infection Worried About Bringing Baby Around Sick Family Member...viral Infection But On Antibiotics For A Week?

Worried about bringing baby around sick family member...viral infection but on antibiotics for a week? - bronchitis viral infection

My family has a barbecue on the birthday of my father, and I want to come and bring my daughter. She is only nine weeks and I'm worried because my mother is a viral infection such as bronchitis and a cough that lasts for about two weeks ago. Today I called to see if she was still sick, and she was hurt and said he was on antibiotics.

Today is the day I can see where my family, all together, how all the different working hours.

Is it safe for him to go there? Everyone in the family is healthy, even my nephew two years ago with my mother. If you do not get sick, is not really contagious?

I would like to call the pedi, but are closed and will pay $ 20 for calls after hours, so I thought I'd check consulting here first.

Only work on bacterial infections with antibiotics, viral infections. If bacteria are not contagious after 2 days.

After my daughter has a very bad cold when she wears 3 months in the family, she demanded to see a baby I never got sick around the family!
It was terrible to have a child is so young and so sick! I do not care, who does not appear offended again. I would not think a child is 9 weeks to get a bad cold.

Palito Ortega and think about your son. It can not protect yourself, you're his protector. It will be forgotten.

I can not imagine that it is contagious. And even if she is, she will not cough in my face.

I'm sure it can be treated with antibiotics if you have a viral infection, because they are used to treat bacterial infections, and I have had no effect on viruses.

I think if they on antibiotics that your baby will be good. If she goes, and when you go home and see a cough and then talk to your document, so you can guarantee your antibiotics before something happens to obtain. I think you're sick. It is good to your mother is taking the medication.

No. Sorry, you do not take it. Not worth the risk. A baby that young people can become very ill and in hospital several times. Too bad if you are shocked.

I would not have much to worry about. If the mother is still coughing a lot so do not let her carry the baby. If it does not get to coughing so much to wash their hands and do not worry. Children are sick !!!!! You can not prevent everything. Both my son were cold in winter and flu season, and many diseases exposed born and were very good. As you build your immune system if they are never exposed to germs? If your child is sick, then deal with it. Do not blame anyone who simply tries !!!!!!
